I have a plaid comforter with like pinks, yellows, and browns. It looks like its from a country cottage. I think I am going to paint my walls light yellow and brown. What bedroom set would look good with it? Check HOM furniture, Slumberland, or Ashley Furniture. What are some other cute touches I could put in my room?
Answer
Hi, try this. Go into Google or Yahoo image search. Key in country cottage bedroom or bedroom designs or whatever you think best describes the item you're looking for. Voila, you now have thousands of photographs to choose from. Also, try a site called glidden.com, it allows you to paint a room and see what it looks like, really cool! Most images link to a website for more information.

What color should I paint my bedroom wall?
woohoo
I have a light cherry bedroom set. The comforter has a garnet base with golds and darker reds. I have wood floors. And my wall decor is mostly reds and golds as well. Right now I have a marigold yellow color but I'm starting to realize that was the wrong choice! What would better suit this room and make it more calmer?

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "threshold taupe" (# 7501) might be a good choice.
You can take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
