Kid themed queen sized bed sets?

So, for christmas my mother got my 4 year old daughter a queen sized bed. She wanted her to have a bigger bed in case she got sick and I had to sleep with her. My thing is, I want to get her a kid themed bed set like My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, or Monster High. We just bought a new house and I want to do her bedroom one of those three for her Birthday (no that isn't the only present she will get! LOL) and she has already said she wanted one of those three for her bedroom. My dilemma is the fact that everywhere I have gone the biggest sizes I can find in kid themed bed sets is a full and from what I have read, a full won't fit a queen. So, does anyone else know of any place I can get something like this for her in either a queen or a king? Please help!

Why cant kids go right into an adult size bed?

My daughter is 11 months. People are saying a toddler bed is a waste of money and to get her a twin size. But i have a bedroom set i use right now that i would like to give to her...but the bed is a queen....why cant she jus go in that at 18 months - 2 years?

Kid proof your Queen set and let her sleep in it. She is set well into her teenage years as far as a bed goes.

Just make sure she can't fall out of it or slip in to any large gaps on the sides of the bed.

Does anybody know where i can get a comforter to go with a lime green room?

I'm going to paint my room lime green as like the accent wall and I can't find a comforter to match. I want something with like a pattern...maybe with like floral disigns or like birds or something. Im open to anything really. If you find a store or a link I could go to that would be great!

You can always try a classic dot bedding.
Don't just get the green.It will fade away with the lime paint.
Try a mixture of purple and green.

How should i re-do my room?

hello!....i am redoing my room and i can't make my mind up on how.My fave. colors are blue and green, but i was thinking brown too.....here are my ideas:

1) i was thinking to paint two walls blue and two walls green and a little white line in the corners.

2) i was also thinking of painting my wall brown and getting like a blue and brown comforter.

i really don't know what to do so post what you think or give any other ideas..

Pick your bedding first then pull your paint colors from it.If it has brown and blue together I would chose one of those colors for three walls(probably the brown for me) then use the other as an accent color for the wall with your bed. Blue and green with brown may be difficult to find in bedding but I will see what I can find...

This one has a lot of different shades of browns and blues so you would have a number of choices which colors to use on the walls. I like the lighter brown for the walls with the darker blue for the accent wall...

I once painted a room with two walls one color and two walls another and I didn't like it, however everyone is different and you may like it. You can't go wrong with one accent wall behind the bed as long as the colors compliment one another. I really think if you have two walls one color and two walls another wihth white lines in the corners it will be too much.

I had next to noooo money when I moved into my new apartment. Craigslist and IKEA were seriously lifesavers. I got a set of REALLY NICE couches on craigslist, the woman I got them from was looking to have her floors redone and just wnated them out of her house by the next morning...perfectly nice, modern looking couch and loveseat for FREE. I also got my matress set from craigslist, from some kid who was moving, spur of the moment out to cali (I live in boston) and needed to sell his almost new jordans furniture queen sized mattress and boxsprings...I got them under a year old, valued at 1200 for only 200 bucks. If you look, and you must look, and be vigilent you can seriously find the most amazing deals on craigslist. I have a beautiful apartment, all of my friends comment on how gorgeous it is when they come over for the first time, and seriously to furnish two bedrooms, living room, kitchen total I must've spend less then $1500 bucks. which, when you think of it, is a steal. and Im including the prices of flatwear, kitchen wear etc. that I got all from IKEA so inexpensively. Good luck, it can be done! You just have to be creative

How should I redecorate my loft bedroom and sleeping nook?

I recently moved to the upstairs loft in our house, but the room (while large and spacious) is a little drab. The walls are a faded pale yellow, and the curtains are mismatched. The floor is wooden, but painted a blue/gray color, and the trim and railing above the stairs is a smudged up white. I want to revamp the room entirely, but I don't know how to stay classy and cute while spending as little money as possible. In addition to the loft, there's a small "nook" space, which was built out of part of the attic. It's got enough room for a queen sized air mattress on the floor (which is what my boyfriend and I sleep on), but the ceilings are a bit too short to stand up in. I'd love to make it a sleeping area, but I don't know how to transform it to make it look nice in such a tiny area.

As far as colors, I love purple, but I don't want the room to look childish. I'm a big fan of vintage looks, and I have a daybed in the main loft area which I'd love to do up as a "couch." I just need some cute (and cheap) ideas to get started.

I'm a 21 year old female, if that makes a difference in your opinions. I used to live in this bedroom when my sister and I were little kids, and it still has a very childish feeling to it. I need a more adult room (especially if my boyfriend is going to be here a lot.)

throw a rug over the floor
get some retro curtains from a second hand store
have a lot of "dance" space where you can set up your stereo and blast the music
have your daybed along one wall near your dance space
stick up posters of band performances and gigs that you want to go to
place a vase of flowers on your bedside table
hang up framed pictures of you and your boyfriend in the small area
throw a rug and make the air mattress look comfy
if you have any old cameras put them around your room
hang light bulbs from the ceiling
