I have a queen bed with a mattress height of 22" and so far i have not been able to find sheet sets that will fit properly. does anyone know where i can purchase individual piece sheets instead of buying sets?
i know that wal-mart has sheets in individual pieces but they are so rough and scratchy i might as well sleep on wool. please help!

This time of year every store has sales on linens. Every department store (Kohls, Macys) or discount store (Tj Maxx, Marshalls, Ross) and every bedding store (Linens and Things, Bed bath and Beyond) sells individual sheets. Most better manufacturers make them to fit the thicker mattresses nowadays.
I'd rather sleep on old newspapers than buy that junk from Walmart. Unfortunately, most of K-Marts sheets are not much better any more.
Look for Ralph Lauren sheets on sale -- I have found them to be the most generously sized and the fabric is silky smooth cotton that holds up beautifully to washing.
