I have this beautiful, rich burgundy bedroom set. I had a cream and gold comforter and it looks nice, but I am way girly and want something that is more geared toward that feel. If it helps, I love lavender, pale pink, light sage, light yellow, pale blue....basically peaceful colors...mixing is allowed! What are your suggestions that you think would look good with the dark burgundy wood bedroom set? I would love to decorate (art, curtains, candles etc.) in all of the above if you think I could get away with it! It is for a King size bed, if that matters. Much thanks to all who leave ideas and thoughts!

i think to go with the wood, deep fuschia and serices. try and find an Indian style bed throw and add some rich looking silk cushions to tone in. Add some ptretty candle containers and it will look great.
For the windows, about blinds with some voile in front. There are some wonderful voiles and they make the room look interesting and luxurious.

4pc Queen Size Platform Bedroom Set in Mahogany Finish is a nice dark wood with a shiny polish coating. The bed was very easy to put together and everything is relatively lightweight. The dresser is the heaviest piece at 116 lbs. The dresser itself is not very deep so is perfect for our smaller bedroom. So far we're very happy with this purchase and will think about buying the taller dresser that is sold separately later on. I gave it four stars because the quality does not seem as high and the durability not as great as something you might find at a pricier furniture store, but for what we needed and for the price this was a great buy.
