My bedroom walls are "the hulk" green (hand-me-down room from my brother) and my bed frame is white. I bought two small pink pillows and i don't know what color to buy my comforter or book shelf in. the room is a little tight on space, especially with the size of my bed. i don't want more white furniture and i don't want to overdo it with color. what colors do you suggest? :)

More tips for a fire-themed bedroom?

All right, so I asked this question a couple days ago and it got pretty overlooked. So here's a second try.
I was looking into making a fire-themed bedroom. I figured painting my walls red, painting my trim a yellow or blue (to represent the other colours of fire), paint my doors orange, and that's all well and good, but I was looking for any furniture ideas.
I have all the colours down, but I guess what I mean is styles. Like, for a water-themed bedroom, I guess you could get a boat-shaped bookcase or a lighthouse lamp. But do you guys have any ideas for fire?
Also--if you could send me any links to a good bedspreads, that'd be great. While fire is the *main* theme, I wouldn't mind dragons as well. So any ideas for a fire/dragon themed bedroom would be fantastic. Thanks!

Hi - your theme is very unusual, but I can just see it and it could look wonderful - it is great to have something really different and I always say go for it and let your imagination run wild - so enjoy getting your theme together. I will try to help you and hope you might like something that I suggest?

I would purchase, if you don't have any black furniture for your bedroom i.e. black chest of drawers, black table/desk and perhaps a bedside table and a bright red chair. You could purchase the black furniture from Ikea:

The other thing I was thinking of is - the furniture is not that expensive and why not paint it - if you're good at art and put either or both - flames or a dragon on the pieces you buy - on the black furniture it would look nice perhaps to use these stencils if you cannot draw and paint them in red and white - have a look at these?
