The bedroom set is plain, but has a traditional oak feel and tri=fold mirror.
Any ideas for an imagery theme, other than roses/flowers?
My man has no particular ideas for this room, so I don't have much input there...
Thanks!

Answer
A collection of family photographs in ornate oak frames might be nice. Children's artwork can also be framed to add a happy feeling to the room. You can frame just about anything. Frame several pieces of color coordinating fabric and hang in a cluster on the wall. Go to a flea market to scout for old picture frames of various sizes and hang in a group, one inside of the other. Or, take one large frame and hang on the wall. Paint your own picture directly on the wall inside the frame. Check out this web site for more bedroom ideas.

how much is my bedroom set worth?

LaTasha

I have a 10yr old shiny black bedroom set. 6 Drawers with an unique style mirror, headboard and rails, 2 night stands, and a tall chest that has a clothes rack and two drawers on the inside, and the two panels that opens up are mirrors. What do you think I could sale it for? Its furniture that my late mom owned. Thanks in advance for your response.

I am having trouble. I lost all of the screws to my bedroom set when moving. I have a mirror that attaches to my dresser also foot board, head board and legs. The frame is metal and I know it was may from ashley furniture they won't sell me just the screws. Where can I purchase some from I don't even know the measurements. So far have tried Menard and Ace Hardware no help. I want to put my bedroom set togehter by this weekend.

Answer
Go to Home Depot or Lowes; they have thousands of screws with pictures so you can get exactly what you want.
Maybe you can talk Ashley into giving or selling you just one screw so you can match it exactly.
Just be sure and tell them it is for a metal bed.
Meanwhile I guess you will have to sleep on your mattress on the floor for a couple of nights.

I personally think that you should have a Paris themed room. You could have an poodle with a black Barrett ontop of your dresser and it could have a black Eiffle Tower in front of it.
Also you could have different sized frames that haves pictures of the Eiffle Tower, a stoned sidewalk like they have in Paris, and maybe some pictures of freshed baked dough.
