i want to buy a new bedroom set, so first i need to sell my old one. I was wondering if i sold it locally such as in the paper or on craigslist, how much do you think i can make out of it. I would sell my loft bed. It is a full size bed, with a dresser, and a desk. The furniture is white, and in okay condition. The desk is marked up, but it can be refinished, if desired. The desk had three drawers, a hutch, and a pull out drawer for a keyboard. The dresser has six decent size drawers. the furniture is good quality. It was bought at raymour and flanigan, no more than three or four years ago.

Ok so I'm 13 and I'm redoing my room completely. I need new furniture and I love the stuff that's on PBTeen, but my parents don't want to order furniture online. I took a look at the website for Raymour and Flanigan and Bobs (cuz my family buys furniture from them all the time). I was looking online just to get a feel for the kind of stuff they had, and I absolutely HATED IT. If anyone knows any good furniture stores for teens, please let me know.

vanity (not a dresser, some ppl get them mixed up)

Check out the Ethan Allen website. They have some really nice pieces. The Shelby bed may be a little girly for your taste, but I love it. They also have a section specifically for teens and young people.
When you say "vanity," do you mean what is sometimes called a dressing table? I have found that vanities are usually sold as separate accent pieces instead of part of a regular bedroom set. You may be able to find one that will be an interesting contrast to the rest of your furniture. Check out Craigslist. Even if the rest of your bedroom set is modern, an antique vanity can be like a work of art. Or look at Pottery Barn or even Pier One. Enjoy!
