How much would it approximately cost for a two bedroom apartment/condo in Vancouver?
I'm not looking for anything fancy, but nothing old, slum-like either and the neighborhood should be safe enough to roam freely at night and shouldn't be too far from downtown. I'm interested in Fairview or Burnaby.
What would be the price range for an apartment like that? (to rent and to buy respectively)
Answer
Renting a 2-bedroom apartment in Burnaby will set you back at least $1100 per month. The rents in Vancouver go up from there.
Condos would cost you around $300,000 as a minimum in Burnaby. In Vancouver the prices will be over $400,000.

I want to post my bedroom set in the classifieds, how much money should I ask for it? (pictures)?

It's real cherry wood and in pretty decent condition. 2 years old.
If you're interested I live near Vancouver, BC, and leave me your email.
But, how much do you think I should ask for all four pieces together?
Here's the vanity, with mirror and stool included:

Here's the dresser:

and lastly, here's the nightstand (comes with two):

Thanks to all that answer.
Answer
well, furniture is usually depreciated over 5 years (when used by a business), so you might consider asking for 60% of what you paid 2 years ago and being willing to negotiate down to about 40% if necessary.
so if the whole set cost $3000 2 years ago, ask for 1800 and settle for 1200.
If someone offers to buy just one or 2 pieces, I'd consider charging more per piece, because it'll be harder to sell the other pieces left over. good luck
