Answer
Get rid of the mattress on one of the beds. Take the one you don't sleep on out and replace the mattress with a piece of plywood. Beg, borrow or steal some containers and turn that space into a storage area.
You will probably have enough space there for several large totes and possibly some drawers. This should give you ample storage for extra clothes, toys, and assorted junk.
The cheap way to do this is to use the bottom bunk for storage and find some fabric to hang which will hide the whole mess. This is cheaper because you can save on the storage totes by just getting cheap plastic ones at WalMart. But then you're stuck sleeping on the top bunk...
You can do the same thing to the top bunk, but the expense is more if you want your room to look nice. Nice containers are more expensive than fabrics. However, you can get artsy and find some cheap containers and shelving and try to decorate them so they don't look like you have a pile of totes on the top bunk.
Now, if you're handy with tools, you could curtain off the top bunk completely, throw some boxes up there to store your stuff, and be done with the whole issue...
Good luck

does a bedroom set includes the mattress, box spring, and bed frame?

Michael W
i am wanting to get a 5 piece bed room set that has a mirror, headboard, night stand, cabinet, and chester drawer. my question is does that include the mattresses and frame automatically or do they need to be purchased separately?
Answer
You named the five pieces.
You will have to buy the mattress and frame separate.
