I am looking for a new bedroom set, something with a bed, dresser and night stand for under $300.00 .Do you know anywhere i can find a cheap one in the Buffalo,NY area ? I have searched craigaslist and online...cant find anything

If you buy NEW furniture for $300 it is NOT real wood. Ashley furniture is CRAP! Bobs Furniture sells CRAP. I'm not sure they are in your area. Ask the sales clerk if it is particle board, pressed board, ALL wood or SOLID wood. All wood only means that the saw dust they glued together is "all wood". The veneers they use on furniture in that price range is no thicker than a sheet of paper. Never leave water on the top. Your furniture will be ruined for ever. Never put anything heavy in the draws. That price range furniture is only designed for looks not actual usage. Look on craigslist or yard sales for SOLID wood. Look for dovetail draws. It is a sign of better quality.

5 piece bedroom set worth?

I have a 5 piece bedroom set that I would like to sell. There's a twin day bed with trundle, a dresser with mirror, a night stand, a TV stand with storage above and below, and an up-right chest I guess you would call it. The only thing that's damaged is the nightstand, it has a stain on it from a spill, still not very noticeable. How much would this be worth?
